Guest guest
Hello, My name is Louanna. Im 41 and was diagnosed with photosensitive rosacea a little more than a month ago. I have probably had it for the last 15 years or so. It has just recently started to burn. The dr placed me on hydrocortisone cream and plexion. However, the burning sensations have increased and I am noticing scaring. He also put me a trial basis of dynacin, which has made me more sun sensetive. I have always blushed easily, but now by face is constanly red with more noticible broken capillaries. After doing research, I have decided to fire my Dermotologist and have stopped the hydrocortisone. Im now using metrogel given to me by my GM Doctor. The burning continues. My face now becomes a bright red. Im unable to use anything on it without causing a flare up. Ive always embarrassed eaisly, but now with intensity. My face is very sun sensitive, but my work and location make avoiding the sun unrealistic, and sunscreens seem to aggravate my condition. I have ordered Dr. Nash's book. If anyone can tellme how to reduce the pain associated with the burning I would greatly appreciate it. louannajean@...
