Guest guest
Just wanted to let you all know that I went through with my colonoscopy after I had expressed fear to the forum that I did not want to follow through with it after what happened to . Everything went fine - in fact, I have felt better this week after having it done (as weird as that sounds). My husband and I tried to talk to the local GI who did the procedure about my ongoing problems and before we knew it he had me diagnosed with IBS and said I was depressed and needed to see my PCP about going back on hormones and for depression. We just gave up on him and I will see a GI specialist at U of Mich on Oct 1. He also said, you had pancreatitis once and had your gallbladder out and no more attacks. He doesn't believe that I had several attacks before I finally went to ER when I was officially diagnosed. He did mutter something about an ERCP and it has a 10% chance of causing pancreatitis. I understand the frustration here. Debbie in Mich
