Dear Kimber, With certainty it must have been a very difficult decision for you to make to apply for disability and leave your work. I know the job has been valuable to you and that while you were able, you gave it your all. Yet in the year and a half that I have known you through our website relationship with the PAI, I've listened to your observations of a gradual decline in your ability to keep up the pace in your profession, due to health and medication issues. I am so sorry that the deterioration of your physical cababilities due to CP has brought you to this decision. It must be very hard, yet you know that it is the right thing to do. I hope that the process of leaving your work and the friends you have there is not too painful, yet surely it will be, and my heart goes out to you. There is no question that you are a perfect example of one who clearly deserves disability.......but, we know how hard it seems to be for so many to get it! I hope yours is awarded promptly and fully the first time you apply and that you don't encounter any setbacks along the way. With hope and prayers, Heidi Heidi H.
