Bleeding? Bile gastritis? Bile reflux?

Have any of you experienced any bleeding as a result of your MGBs?

Would there be any of you out there that had any complications with

bleeding directly after or during the MGB that you could let me in on?

Also, have any of you had any experience with a development of bile

gastritis or bile reflux? Were any of you concerned about these to

problems before the procedure? Please! Help me here!

Hi Meghan,

I had severe acid reflux after the surgery. I slept in a recliner at

the hospital (after the nurse called Dr R at 2:30am because all the

meds didn't touch it) and that helped alittle. He then told them to

give me a saltine to " soak " up the acid and Demoral, and that helped

too.

I haven't experienced any bleeding or bile reflux like some of the

other post-ops have. My acid reflux subsided tremendously after the

first week and now is only an occasional annoyance.
