We are seeing a DAN doctor that I got from this list, his name is Kucera

M.D. in Colorado Springs Colorado.

Who do you have an appointment with?

Perhaps someone on the list has experience with the particular doctor.

I will say that our DAN! doctor is not quick to prescribe medication,

but does so when medically needed. I have been very, very pleased

with our DAN! doctor.

As for whether there is more than can be done besides diet, that will

depend on your individual needs. It is possible that there are other

issues that could improve with supplements. Then again, it could be

that diet will be enough for your family. Most DAN! doctor runs

Organic Acid Tests and stool tests. Oftentimes, thyroid function is

considered as well as viral issues, etc.

Hi Antoinette...

Our DAN! ORDERED us to go SCD! I'd only heard of SCD once before, and

that was at a DAN! conference I attended last year - and I bought

Elaine's book too that day, thinking that I might need to go down this

route...

Our DAN! is Dr. Cutler in Niagara Falls, N.Y. and although he's

extremely busy, we are pleased with many of the changes we've seen.

And SCD (probably with LOD restrictions)has a lot to do with Cameron's

progress.

ps - other parents I know who take their ASD kids to Cutler have not

had them ordered on SCD, so it's not just a blanket recommendation

from him...
