Guest guest Posted June 12, 2002 Report Share Posted June 12, 2002 Is there anyone out there who has had fotofacial done in NC? If so, what doctor did you go to, and could you recommend him/her? As I've mentioned before, there are no Bitter, Sr. trained photoderm practitioners here in NC--I had to drive almost 300 miles to a doctor in SC who, while not Bitter trained, was actively seeking cea sufferers to use his Photoderm machine on (or so it would seem from perusing his website.) I couldn't even find a doctor in NC who had used photoderm on rosaceans. The dermatologists in the town where I live acted like they thought I was making the whole thing up. The Bitter Sr. trained physician in VA, who is only 85 miles away from me, won't return my calls. Another poster to this board told me that this dude is a gynecologist who gets his nurse to do the actual photoderm treatments, and she doesn't recommend him. So I've crossed him off of my list. However, after finding Bitter Jrs. website, I found several places in NC that offer fotofacial. If I can't get any recommendations, I'll probably end up going to the one closest to me.
