Guest guest
Hello again dear ka, Please, don't feel this way. My heart goes with you. I really know what you are talking about, it's no easy, but you will win! Well, I had H. pylori for the first time at 2001, done the treatment, done endoscopy with biopsy that came negative, so I had sure that I'll be free for this infection forever. The months passed by, and I felt my stomach was not OK again, look, this is was one year after the first infection/eradication. Sadly the biopsy came back positive and I must redo all again. Done another endoscopy that came back negative again, by the way I read that if you catch H. pylori, it will live always in your body, sometimes not active, I really don't know. About how many endo's I had to do, I only done one after each treatment, in this case 2. But I done more than 10, because I also have reflux, esophagitis, recurring Hiatal Hernia and a undone fundo surgery... I know all those tests make me feel more sick that I'm, too. Some people do not use meds for H. pylori eradication if they are symptom free. In the first, I was having a real bad reflux, no appetite, but it no reported gastritis. In the second, I was having pain, nasty nausea, and it came back with chronic follicular gastritis, apart the infection on both times. By now, I'm not felling OK, and I'm afraid that this nasty bug is rising again. Feel free to ask for more, Liane you wrote: Liane, Thanks for your info. So- you had to do the treatment 2x? If mine isn't gone ...I will go crazy-I can't take this along with all the other CP symtoms....I feel so depressed and wonder if I will ever be well again.. Bless you for listening..How many endoscopys did you have to go thru just to find out the treatment didn't work? I never thought I had anything wrong with my stomache-All the pain I thought was just the reg CP pain...As I said-they found it accidentally in Nov (even though I was H pylori positive since 1990)when they did my endo US to check the progression of my CP. Now they can't do anything (ERCP-Again) till the HP is eradicated...I just feel hopeless.Liane-Thank you-Hugs to you and again thanks for listening-God Bless you in every way! Please get back to me if you can about how many endoscopy's you had to go through..I have had 5 ERCP's and I have fear like none other about those painful, miserable tests that always make me sicker.. OK I will stop whining..THANK YOU, ka
