Thoracoscopic Splanchnicectomy

Hi,

Thoracoscopic Splanchnicectomy

Has anyone had the procedure done or does anyone know anything about the

procedure. As I understand it, the surgeon cuts the nerves from the

pancreas to the Splanic nerve thus eliminating the pain signals. The

procedure requires three holes and is basically laproscopic. It requires an

overnight stay in the hospital.
