Guest guest Posted March 5, 2002 Report Share Posted March 5, 2002 Hi All. I play fiddle/violin. I had been busy for the past week and hadn't touched my instrument. My rosacea seb/derm had been improving. Then last night I played for a while. Today I awoke with fresh breakouts, redness and itching. Could I be allergic to the rosin (from pine trees) that is used on the bow? It makes a fine powder when playing. Has anyone had similar reactions?
