Guest guest
Marina, I didn't realize that there were classrooms where such " old " kids still got morning snacks. Around here, even 1st graders don't have morning snack anymore. I still think the ideas I posted would work. At least the kids around here wouldn't think pancakes are a " baby " snack. Send them with a small container of honey. They'll be like those pancake lunchables that are sold in the grocery. What about mini-burgers? Use the soufle bread recipe and cut it out with cookie cutters. Make a meat loaf, slice it and then cut it with the same cookie cutter. You can make tiny burger sandwiches. You mentioned yogurt, so I am assuming that you are using dairy. Cut cheese slices with a cookie cutter and they'll look like those store-bought shaped pieces of cheese.
