Guest guest
Hi everyone, It's been a while since I posted. First things first - " congrats " to all who have firm dates - " hang in there " to all awaiting approval and surgery dates. My thoughts are with you. Well, it is week #7, and I have lost 33lbs. I feel pretty good. My energy level gets better every day. I am eating pretty much what I want with the exception of fried foods and fresh bread. Too scared to try them yet - don't really miss them all that much. Amazing!!!! I've been eating a lot of fruit and veggies - it's really true - you actually crave that stuff after this surgery!!!! I've had some strange little pains in my intestine lately, I think it's nerve regeneration. I e-mailed Dr. R a couple dyas ago - haven't heard anything yet. Anyone else notice this? My e-mail at home has been down for a few weeks, but it's up now. Sorry if I didn't respond to anyone who sent messages. Try again - I'll get them this time!!! Flo? You out there? How's it going? Nadine? What about you? What's going on with your process? Take care and best wishes to all of you!! Leigh in KY MGB 05/12/2000 33lbs. gone!!! Guest guest
Hi everyone! I have been reading your posts for the past couple of days but haven't written-I have been kinda quiet here at home and have wanted to write but the initiative comes and goes! Pain in the intestine? That kind of hits home for me right now-I am 3 weeks post-op and have experienced that twinging kind of pain several times in the past couple of days-I wonder if it is everything settling in place or like you said nerve regeneration? Anyone with any insight into this? I know I can count on you guys!!! Isn't it funny when one of us asks for something invariably there is someone out there who has experienced it? That is one of the great things about this list!!! Talk to ya later! Tamara Lap rny 6-6-00 Tampa General Hospital 31 lbs. gone 4-ever!!!!
