Guest guest
I just went back from two derm appointments.(Bother are quite famous in my area) I wrote down my notes here if you are interested in. My first appointment was with Dr. Bitter Sr. The first thing he did was to put topical Nicnin (hope to spell write) on my face to induce a flusing. I was told it usually take three minutes to get flushing. Intesting : up to now which was 4 hours from then, my face did not get more red or feel anything unusual after he put on it. He said he did not believe protopic based on his experience. Which is very consistent with the other derm said. I used protopic for two nights, it damn hurt and itching. The other derm even said that protpic and elidel should not be used on rosacea people and not used to treat sub derm too, it target at eczama(did I spell right?) Another thing he said after I said I am going to take anti-oxident supplement was based on the paper published it seemed to be great but either he or Dr.Nase can not produce this result. On his clinic, rosacea did not get worse after photofacial treatments, some very seveve case did not respond well and he have doubt whether it is rosacea or not. Anyway, my impression about Dr. Bitter is he is very nice and patient, his nurse had to knock the door reminding him the next appointment though mine is short too, I guess that is the problem of his stuff. I feel he is much more friendly than his stuff. And he is honest, he said he do not think my case will be very progress developed,(which I do not know, hope so) and he really do not know he should suggest me looking for treatment or not ( I think he meant it to be photofacial), think about if he suggest and highly recommend, he can earn $2300 at least, so he is not money oriented person as I can tell. But I have photofacial treatment booked with him already and I really want to do it. My first photoderm treatment with him is 16 days from now, if your guys interested in the procedure,I will get you posted, otherwise, I will save my typing time and your reading time. I read lots of nice things about herbs, I still highly believe herbs can treat the rosacea, but it need very highly skilled and experienced person, considering myself poisoned by chinese herbs and took more than one month to recover, I do not want to be the pineer tester in that field. good luck to you all.
