Guest guest Posted April 29, 2002 Report Share Posted April 29, 2002 I had my first laser treatment earlier today. The doctor used a pulsed dye, V-Star machine - " the gold standard " . He did my cheeks, nose and chin. I'm a little bruised and swollen but I don't look as horrific as I do when I'm breaking out badly, so I've come into work. They've all seen me at my worst. I can already see an improvement. My telangiectasia are gone! Woohoo! I can't wait for my face to heal to see the rest. The doctor said I'll need at least 2, maybe 3 treatments because I'm so red. Apparently, many of his rosacea patients only need one visit. I'm seeing Dr. Ort at the Dermatology and Laser Institute of Colorado and so far, I'm very pleased with him.
