Pulsed dye versus photoderm ...........

Someone posted pulsed dye was reported by his doctor to be better

than photoderm. My understanding is photoderm can go to many

different levels of the skin where-as pulsed-dye cannot, plus

photoderm has less temporary skin damage or brusing. Dr. Nase also

believes photoderm is the best all around laser for rosacea. I think

any doctor who has invested a considerable amount of time and money

in any particular machine or laser is naturally going to believe it

to be the best, would one expect him or her to say otherwise, unless

they have both or all machines present in their practice.//// Just

for info; my derm, fresh out of school, said Quote " everyone wakes up

with a little nasal swelling in the morning " , maybe some of us are

just looking to hard in the mirrow./// Kudos for Dr. Ritchie, after

my fourth photoderm treatment in knoxville I have to join Gregg and

Ann and others on this board in raving about his knowledge and his

caring for his patients. He really detest rosacea as much as we do,

and speaks of it from 5 years experience, but the main thing is he

really enjoys what he does, he loves helping people, and takes great

pride in being good at what he does, the confidence he gives his

patients is very reassuring, he doesn't just show up for the

appointment and rush in and out without giving any thought to what

he's doing like a lot of doctors do. I think you could ask some

doctors " what did you say " and they would answer " what did I say " .

Hoping this helps someone.........Thanks!
