Guest guest
Hi, Ok Here are the latest #'s in follow up over the last week for over 200 MGB patients. That is 200 MGB people responded to my email in less than 7 days. That is ~33% follow up in 7 days! Thanks! We have a very good follow-up on our surgery. Others are getting mail requests and I will keep you informed. Here are the average weight loss numbers for the entire group. Notice in contrast to other surgery we seem to get additional weight loss after the first year. Long term weight loss looks very good. Also, we are going to be doing our first revision to get additional weight loss in the next several months (1/667 cases). Entire Group Months Avg Wt Loss 1 32 3 48 6 70 12 116 18 162 > 300 lb. Group Months Avg Wt Loss 1 39 3 54 6 77 12 122 18 167 For the under 300 lb. group the weight loss is less but still quite good. For those of you saying you are not losing enough in the under 300 lb group the expected weight loss for the group at 6 months (Average) is 66 lbs. < 300 lb. Group Months 1 29 3 43 6 66 12 110 18 154 RR Rutledge, M.D., F.A.C.S.
