Guest guest
I am currently finding that my face is becoming more and more photosensitive, even though Ive only recenlty been diagnosed with rosacea and haven't made any huge changes. If i'm in my dorm room and its muggy with some sunlight (despite the shades being drawn) i feel myself becoming a tomato. Does this mean i can never go out in thhe sun again??? I have been putting zinc oxide moistruizer on my face...i just can't believe that in such a short time i could get so sun/heat-sensitive. this is more embarassing as i am of asian descent and you dont typically see many asians walking around with red faces..whereas many caucasians have a naturally rosy complexion. my friend walked into my room theother day when i was experiencing a flush from the sunlight and she said i looked like i was going to faint. Ive heard that many medications for hypersensitivity, and even anti histamines can cause an increase in photosensitivty. has anyone had any experience with this? is there anything i can take/eat that will DECREASE my photosensitivity? i cant imagine never being able to play in the sun again...let alone walk in the sun!
