Guest guest
Flo~ They gave me a Demerol pump, and I didn't have to ask for it. They had already hooked it up in the recovery area, so the floor nurses did not have to do it. I actually did not use the pump much. I did not have a lot of pain, and the sting of the medicine going in the IV was worse so I just asked them to take it off after awhile. Actually, the worse part of the whole surgery was the IV, and I was SO happy when they finally took it out. Feel free to ask me any other questions you might have. Good luck! Guest guest
Hi e: When I was a kid, playing the outfield, someone would hit a ball high in the air (a potential home run). I was supposed to catch that ball....only I was the kind of kid who was scared...so instead of raising my arms to catch the pop fly, I put my arms over my head to protect it and screamed oh, no! Oh No! It's going to hit me. And it didn't....it plopped next to me without touching me. Well that's me right now. Think of the pump as my arms and you get the drift.
