Colonoscopy & Pancreatitis

I am scheduled for a colonoscopy on Monday after seeing my PCP and telling

him that I am constipated (always have been) unless I take natural Herbs on a

daily basis. So now he orders a Colonoscopy and puts down abdominal pain on

my check out sheet. I don't have abdominal pain - I have the strange

epigastric pain that comes and goes in and around the pancreas. Well, I

started the prep today but after reading what happened to and her

colonoscopy - I told my husband that I don't want it - now I am scared that

it will trigger more pain for me and right now the pain hasn't gotten bad

enough to take pain meds. Has anyone else had a colonoscopy trigger severe

pain like had? I think I will have my husband call in on Monday that I

am sick and forget it - I don't think I need it anyway.
