Guest guest
Hey everybody, I am doing great. This is one of the best decisions I have ever made in my life. I was a little nervous before surgery, so they " beamed me up " with a gram of Versed and some oxygen. Sandy, I had the terrible nausea the day of surgery ad a little bit yesterday. I ate a couple of teaspoons of yogurt and felt a whole lot better. I have not been hungry and that is amazing because I am struggling to get in 250 calories a day. It's hard to eat. I have to make my self sip on something and the juices take me a while to finish because I am trying to sip and not gulp. I can see bones in my ankles again. Haven't seen them in three years. They had been swollen from edema and venous insufficiency. I am going to my PCP next Tuesday to get my staples out. My incisions look good, one of them itches. I have decided to weigh only once a month. I want to get rid of some of my past obsessive ways. Jan, I am so happy you won your appeal. Every time someone wins it feels like a personal victory for myself as well. To the others who are fighting insurance companies, don't give up. Make them tire before you do. If you are relentless, they will fold. Well, get sleepy a lot, so I will end here. Take care. le
