I'm pretty skeptical of anything that claims to eliminate > redness, but hope springs eternal! While in Canada during Thanksgiving last fall, I bought a tube of cure. I had some samples for about a month prior, & had been applying it sparingly to my worst areas (my nose), but I didn't really notice anything change during that time. Things to make note of about this products: 1.) There is one extra ingredient in the tube that I purchased vs. what was in the sample (Sodium Hyaluronate 1% -- listed on the product box front as Hyaluronic Acid). This ingredient is implied to help w/ redness, so the fact that it is not in the sample they sent me prompted me to give the newer version a try. 2.) cure actually makes me flush when I apply it, but that goes away in about 10 mins. 3.) Overall, I'm starting to notice a bit of improvement. However, my triggers (alcohol, spicy foods & being in front of the computer) still trigger a flush. But I do notice that my general pinkness seems a bit less. I have noticed that the cold doesn't turn my nose as bright a shade of red as it used to. 4.) If you go to buy the stuff in Canada, you have to go to the pharmacy counter. There is another anti-redness cream that is more expensive (I'm blanking on the name, but it is made by a company that has a connection/ownership to Canderm). This other cream is shelved in the high-end anti aging products display. The ingredients are almost verbatim a match w/ cure. The sales clerk (a remarkably knowledgeable, kind & helpful person, BTW, as is every Canadian I have ever met...) went through the ingredients list & concluded that the cure was the better product (& cheaper too!). I paid CAN$27 for it. 5.) I'm unsure if the cure is the culprit, but I think that it does promote pustules with me (I seldom have them). This is an occasional, isolated thing. I just give them a dab of a Ltd disc & it goes away pretty fast. I try to apply the cream 2x a day, although I also use Almay Keratin products at night (& apply the cure just to my nose at night). I do get sloppy at times & miss a day. As it has only been 7 weeks since I started, I decided that I will keep it up until I'm done w/ the cream (& a little goes a long way, so I will give it a fair chance). I'll give everyone an update in a month.
