I think that if your child is precocious, enjoy it; if your child is smart,

enjoy that==encourage it all; if your child is smart but is developing slowly

and/or has learning challenges, encourage and help the child--

no matter how we look at it, being educated is the best thing for any

one in the modern world--and besides kids need encouragement and

parents who are proud of them anyway.

My first sounds like Leesa's,. the second, too, and were we ever aston

ished when the third was exceeding the first two! --- clearly had more

brains than both parents combined, and as she had cystic fibrosis, we

really encouraged her; I think it has given her a real life!
