I am on Wellburtin now and I am pre-op - were you on it BEFORE your surgery?

How do you take it the days following surgery? Do you have to crush it or

something? I know, as you do, you can't skip a day - so I am awfully nervous

about that!

Anybody that was on anti-depressants prior to surgery thatc an answer this

ques., please do. I e-mailed Dr. R, but he is on vacation - so I guess he

own't reply soon : )

Thanks all!

I took it the whole time including the one day in the hospital. I was on it

several weeks prior to surgery as well. I take it in the same dosage as pre

surgery. There was no dose titration. I am on Wellbutrin SR, so it can't be

crushed. I could swallow, so it was no problem. You will have other

medications by mouth as well.
