I noticed that many recipes at the pecan bread website use butter. I thought

that those who use the website do not use dairy? Isn't butter dairy? What can I

use as a substitute?

Thanks

Hey Sue,

Ghee is clarified butter, also coconut oil is good...some people use goat

butter.

Butter doesn't have much casein or lactose, many have found it doesn't bother

them.
