Guest guest
I am a 28, female, diagnosed with mild to moderate rosacea. I am on Minocin 50 and metrogel for two months now, and for the past month I am also on a " strict " balanced and healthy diet that seems to help a lot. I was going to wait until after I stopped the antibiotics to post the diet, but as it seems to be good I just couldn't wait. I eat: Morning: 1 apple, 1 pear, 1 spoon of yoghurt, rye crisps and some mild cheese. 12 o'clock: 1 apple Lunch: boiled chicken/fish/beef with boiled vegetables, olive oil & salt and 1 apple Dinner: steamed rice (jasmine) with yoghurt (whole fat), olive oil & salt and boiled fruit (apples, pears, dunes and apricots). I drink ONLY water, 2-3 hrs before or after meals. I try to eat slowly... helps a lot! My nutritionist claims that my rosacea is only a symptom. My real problems are, malnutrition, poor digestion and bad blood circulation. Makes Sense! The diet is basically a combination of vitamins that boost the immune system and limit toxin intake. Also it seems to aid toxin disposal I am lucky cos I live in Greece (hence the bad English) and I can easily find good quality (v.important) fruits and vegetables as well as best quality and cheap olive oil. I use the Avene products for intolerant skins, and a sun block every day as Athens can get extremely hot and sunny. Good luck to all of us Nefeli
