Guest guest
Hi Experts , My son's poop is fairly " normal " consistency and color, but we are still having black flecks, just on the outer part of his poop. I'm wondering if this is funk clearing from his intestines? Everything else is normal, but I think the flecks are bad bacteria, because it smells awful, not the rest of his poop; those stinky flecks are dry funk, that seems to itch his bum. We are also seeing flare ups now and then of a slight rash high on his hips. He is having the yogurt (cultured for 24 hours, tastes and smells great) daily, mixed with his white grape juice and water in a sippy cup, we give about 2 Tbsp per day. His diet is largely meat (chicken, beef, pork, and turkey), eggs, and fruit... with a low occurrence of nut flour products as I was worried the rash might be from those, but it's doubtful as we've tried trials without the nut products and he still can gain the slight rash (red bumps) on his hips. It might be a reaction to the diapers/pullups? Or is this just continued die-off? We've been trying SCD since October 2005, but definitely a few " slips " of illegals from unknowing family and friends, otherwise consistently SCD. Thanks . -Carol
