Guest guest
Has anyone ever tried to make your own pasta using an alternative flour (i.e. nut flour, bean flour, etc)? My hubbie found a pasta maker on sale (cheap!) and we really miss pasta. We have been SCD since July...for my 2 daughters (4 yo and 18 mo old)...they are doing better (thank goodness!) Another note: we just ordered flour from Digestive Wellness...cashew, walnut, hazelnut, pecan....because our nutritionist said we needed to alternate nut flours (too dependent on almond flour). This weekend, I baked lots of yummy recipes and now have a freezer full of yummy muffins, cookies, pancakes, etc. (I love the new Grain Free Gourmet cookbook....everything I've tried has turned out great, especially the main dishes and strawberry jam and tomato sauce. Between that book and Lucy's cookbook, I've been lucky so far to have great meals for my family!) Anyway, would love advice on the homemade SCD pasta idea...is it even possible?
