I am sorry a lot of my emails aren't offering advice but are quite selfishly

asking for it and erm... this one isn't that much different.

I have been prescribed antihistamines to keep the swelling down (for three

months) the problem is if I take any drug, and I mean any ie antiobiotics ( I

guess the only other drug i have taken for a long period of time ie more than

2-3 weeks ) I get a really sore throat. It's so painful I can hardly swallow.

I thought it was coincidence when I frst too antiobtiotics years ago, at first

they were brilliant then my face got covered in scale and this sore throat

chesty thing came on. I think they muct lower immuntiy becuse nowadays all

antiobiotics due this to me.

As I mentionned though I have recently been taking antihistmaines and I have the

same sore throat and chestiness (although I don't have the smae facial scaling

as I did with antibiotics).

I wonder if just any prescription drugs lower the immuntiy and I am jus catch

throat and chest illness' easily (was going to say infections but I guess

antiobiotics should, in theory prevent an infection).

This is related to rosacea in case you were wondering. The problem is all the

drugs you have to try for a long period of time and it is at this point I always

give up. I am so determined to beat this edema but am baffled that I am ill at

about exactly the same times I have been ill when taking completely iferent

drugs.

Should I stick at it?
