Guest guest
Hello, I have recently been diagnosed with mild acne rosacea and have been prescribed antibiotics and metrogel. The acne component seems to be nicely under control, although this was never a particular issue with me, it was always the flushing that annoyed me. From reading various posts on here and elsewhere it would seem that Oxytetracycline is quite an old antibiotic (it is a real pain how careful you have to be to avoid food, milk based products etc when you are taking them) and wondered when i go back to my derm whether i should ask to be put on minocycline etc. I would appreciate any comments on the best antibiotic in the circumstances. Thanks
Guest guest
if tetracycline is working, then do not switch. someday it may not work anymore, and then you'll be still have minocycline. > Hello, > I have recently been diagnosed with mild acne rosacea and have been > prescribed antibiotics and metrogel.
