Guest guest Posted May 7, 2002 Report Share Posted May 7, 2002 Hi Group, I have read several times that Galderma Labs (metrogel, Metrolotion, Metrocream & Desowen and other steroids) funds the National cea Society almost entirely. A few donations are received as a 'front' that rosacea sufferererss pay for research. It is really the company, however, not much is being researched. The medications were previously female creams that were 'reinvented' for rosacea. And the steroids have been around for years. I think it is better than paying big Texas taxes in Dalles/Ft. Worth where they are headquartered.
