Guest guest Posted December 1, 2002 Report Share Posted December 1, 2002 yes deb you are allowed to post my message if you want too..i cant seem to post anything right now.. anyway he did not have pneumonia but in the pattern of cystic fibrosis there seem to be the cyst that develop in the lungs which i knew that anyway when it end stage of lung disease then the cyst open up like a flower and they hinder the breathing and eventually cut off all air supply to the lungs.. the CO2 cant get out and you sufficate.. so they saw that on the xrays that they did the day he got back to arkansas childrens hospital..and that is when they told us and he was already beginning to struggle with breathing..so they gave him morphine to make him not fight to breathe.. and he hung on until my son that has cf got there cause our home is 4 hours away from the hospital.. he hung on cause he needed to let uncle daniel say goodbye to him..i never want to watch another family member leave this world.. i will but i really dont want to ever have to do that.. but he fought a good fight and he was just too young and the lungs just got weak and he couldnt do it any longer..i wish many wishes that he had gotten to meet elton john but that is in the past now but that is really what he wanted to do..anyway thank you for listening i know that it is not good news that i am bringing here but i jsut wanted everyone to know that i have chatted with and that this i s agood group and i do enjoy the support and comments that i get from everyone.. taloen was the light of my life and i know that someday i willbe with him but i have to be the strong one here and keep his mother and the rest of the family going now.. i just have to have my days that i just sit there and cry cause i dont know what else to do.. anyway i need to get off of this thing for now and talk toyou later.. just wanted to say thank you for listening to me.. mary Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
