Guest guest
Hi group, My 2 yo son on SCD just started feeding therapy because he is not chewing solids yet. I normally feed him perfectly pureed food, but today the therapist gave him chunky food. He didn't chew it and swallowed the chunks. The therapist said it's to make him familiar with the texture. Would those small chunks remain undigested and go feed the bad bugs, even if the food is SCD legal? It's the same thing as if someone doesn't chew well and swallows the food still chunky. He had gas afterward, so I was wondering. This is a question for the moderators but I would welcome anybody's input. Thanks, Flor Simon 2yo, ASD, SCD 6 months
