We bought them on ebay, preferring the cheaper route. YOu can get

them on cd or on tape. They are called audiotapes or

audiocassettes. Also, amazon has them, and most major bookstores

carry them. even walmart and target carry the harry potter ones,

though they don't typically deal in books on tape.

For myself (who spends many too many hours in my car due to work), I

usually rent them or get books on tape from the library. The library

sometimes has a wait on the most popular books, but they do have a

nice selection. We rent from a local store called all ears audio

books, when more desparate (and because I go through them so fast I

do not want to buy as many as I listen to). Also, used book stores

often carry them (though I doubt you would find a harry potter

version....)

Hope this helps, and hope that Elish gets better. By the way,

because of mallory's tendency toward glue ear, we keep cipro hc drops

on hand. Unfortunately, oral cipro never seemed to get through the

glue, and, in her case, we ended up on ivs more than once because

once the ears got that way, her lungs were a mess too.
