Guest guest
, I know this wasn't addressed to me, but I felt compelled to write to you again since you gave a description of Kasey. Please, Please talk to the docs about pancreas divisum if you haven't already done so. I was very young when I started having problems with fatty foods (ANYTHNG fried, or even chocolates)I was never a " fragile thing " either, in fact most of my life I have spent battling my weight problems. I found out at 34 that I have panc divisum, and 35 that I have CP. I am in waiting now for a consult for gastric bypass surgery, and am trying to get my kids' pediatrician to pay attention to my questioning. I do not want my kids to have to go through this kind of pain. I have a second cousin (on my dads side) that has panc divisum and her mother passed away at 35 from complications due to severe morbid obesity (she weighed over 800# when she died.) I have 5 children, all but one has problems with weight and my middle son has recently been diagnosed with Tryglyceridemia (triggers pancreatitis attacks) and my youngest son cannot eat fatty foods without getting stomach aches and sometimes vomitting. They are both being tested for the hereditary and cf gene... I want to have a jump on this for their sakes. I again wish you and Kasey the best of luck in getting this under control... Many, Many {{{HUGZ and Prayers}}} ---------------------------------
