Steve and Louise,

His PA's will never go away. They are always in his lungs I guess

it's just a matter of whether or not they are laying dormant or

causing infections. Before the TOBI every other month he used to have

this horrible cough and he has never really had one before. His

baseline cough is practically nothing. Now he's back to his baseline

cough and so far we've had no problems from the psudamonas. We take

throat cultures every three months to make sure they are not causing

any problems and the counts are low.

Wyatt has never had IV treatments for anything. He has never been

hospitalized so on that I don't know what to say. sorry but I " m sure

you'll get lots of responses from those more experienced.

I guess at some point if the PA's are caught soon enough you can

get rid of them for a time. That's when you do the colistin and cipro

route. A lady here, in Hawaii, her daughter had PA's did the colistin

and cipro then they went away for almost 6 months and then she had to

do cipro and colistin again. I think she's been clear lately.
