Guest guest
What is the ELISA test?? I am pretty new to this site but believe it or not I was sure my red face was due to food reactions. My derm just recently told me I had rosacea. I thought she was crazy because when reactions first started, quite a few years back, I would wake up beet red, take two Benadryl and by the next day all was normal. All this time I always attributed a flare up to a food reaction. In between, when my fact broke out, no derm ever connected the breaking out to cea. Now the reactions are much more severe and last for days which are torture. Thanks to this site I have picked up some valuable info on some lotions to try etc. I can't figure out if the food allergies just trigger an existing condition (rosacea) or if the condition is caused by the allergies. Seems a lot of people seem to just flush whereas my flushing is always accompanied by severe itiching and burning. Can anyone help with their experiences???
