Mineral oil does not bother my face at all, I use it mixed with plain water

as a moisturizer some times.

Hi Adam, I think I have mentioned before that I have been on Paxil for

about 4 months and I wouldn't give it up!!! I think I am one of those

that Marjorie described about having extreme reactions and I never (knock on

wood) have the same type of reactions anymore. I am back to exercising,

playing tennis and basically leading a normal pre-rosacea life and I think

the Paxil helped a lot. I can't remember the last time I had a bad flare

(well I do remember, but it was pre-paxil) Now, if I get pink, or very

rosy cheeks it passes quickly and doesn't bother me. I think it's a

vicious cycle..... the worse you mentally feel about it the worse it gets.

As far as the weight gain, I have gained some weight which I needed to

gain... I lost a lot of weight after diagnosis because of the stress and

deppression and fear of eating anything that might make it worse. I eat a

lot more variety now, but still maintain a high protein, low carb diet. (no

junk carbs at all).

Best of luck,

Elena
