I'm feeling a little dumb at this point, every time Josh has a culture done he has been culturing PA. At least for the last few years. I guess I was under the assumption the once it's there, it's there for good. He also does the 28 day Tobi cycle. Boy I wish I had 24 hour access to the Doc right now. Up until recently I havent had anyone to ask questions or compare notes with. Once again I have to thank God for you guys. By the time we go back to the doc I'm going to have a list od questions!! One more for you...I've heard a lot of folks mention Zithromax (sp). I know this is an antibiotic but I'm wondering why we have never used it. In the beginning Josh was on preventive antibiotics. Augmentin. When he had an infection it was Cipro. Recently they have wondered if he is building a resistance to it because we dont get very good results. So they do Cipro and Septra. Is it mabe a doctors preferance or are those on Zithromax not able to take Cipro for some reason.
