Bile gastritis? Bile reflux? Hi Meghan, I had severe acid reflux after the surgery. I slept in a recliner at the hospital (after the nurse called Dr R at 2:30am because all the meds didn't touch it) and that helped alittle. He then told them to give me a saltine to " soak " up the acid and Demoral, and that helped too. I haven't experienced any bleeding or bile reflux like some of the other post-ops have. My acid reflux subsided tremendously after the first week and now is only an occasional annoyance.
