Hi Meghan,

I had severe acid reflux after the surgery. I slept in a recliner

at

the hospital (after the nurse called Dr R at 2:30am because all the

meds didn't touch it) and that helped alittle. He then told them to

give me a saltine to " soak " up the acid and Demoral, and that helped

too.

I haven't experienced any bleeding or bile reflux like some of the

other post-ops have. My acid reflux subsided tremendously after the

first week and now is only an occasional annoyance.
