One of the benefits I have is that I am a nurse. In addition to preparing the Symposium CEU material, I am required to have the PAI licensed as a CEU provider. This is a lengthy processes, but one I have done before. When I lived in St. , USVI, I set up a company providing inservice education and CEU's. The license comes through the Indiana Board of Nursing. It will be good, however, to provide CEUs to SW, RD, and others. I am working on putting together a list of nurses (RN's & LPN's). There is a group called Chronic Pain Nurse's Association. These nurses are no longer able to work due to their pain. I am working on a similar group for Chronic Pancreatitis Nurse's Association. This will provide a venue for nurse's to achieve CEU's, do volunteer service, consultation, and other activities. This will enable them to maintain their Nurse's license and registration.
