I know that I had this disease for six years b/c that is when it all started for me... I am Diabetic from the surgery and I will hopefully not have to take insulin much longer since my blood sugars are starting to stabalize... the highest I've had since being home was 150 something.... The rest of the time it remains in the low hundreds... I am really doing well as can be expected at this point...I do get fatigued and have to rest quite often... I recieved 370,000 Islet cells andDr. Sutherland said thaat is the most he has ever gotten for anyone.. Know that I am looking forward to the meeting here in New Orleans and I want to help in anyway... I would like to become a rep for the New Orleans area and the southern region as well.... Let me know if that is possible... I woould like people to know that they have another person here to support them in any possible...
