Guest guest Posted November 22, 2002 Report Share Posted November 22, 2002 Caden completed the steroids and is still taking Cefzil (antibiotics) and will be for another 4 weeks. His allergist has tried to get the medical opinion of the effects from the steroids from his met. dr's but hasn't gotten a call back yet.(last week) So, we let him complete them. Now, Caden is having quite a bit of hair loss! I noticed it a couple of days ago when I took the hood of his jacket off and then on the back of his shirt he is covered in hair! Today, I can run my fingers through his hair and it comes out. I have called his ped. and she is going to be calling me back in the next little bit. I was just wondering if any of your kids have experienced hair loss with taking any one of these medications?
