Group,

Last summer, on this site, I " ran into " someone who

lives in my small town. We had a bit of correspondence

about rosacea, as she had just been diagnosed.

It sounded to me like she was having an allergy to

something. She said she experimented with eliminating

various foods, etc. and finally found a sympathetic

dermatologist who biopsied her red, swollen skin. It

turns out she was allergic to three different

medications she had been on for years (for something

other than her skin). They had become toxic to her

system.

She looks great and is symptom free.

Suzi

Hi Suzi,

Do you know which medications had such an effect on this person? It

would be good to know in case someone else here on the list might be

having similar side effects from medication causing rosacea or

rosacea-like symptoms and not being aware of the culprit(s).

Thanks,

Matija
