Hi all, Good luck to all that are having surgery tomorrow and this week!

Your gonna just love the other side

Anyone that needs post-op contacts is welcome to e-mail me, I love to talk

about my surgery.

Gwen, I too used to dream about the surgery, having it was almost

anticlimatic! To my surprise I lost over 10 pounds before surgery, I think

just from focusing so much on it, and eating foods that I knew I would be

eating afterwards. Several months before surgery I quit drinking Pepsi (my

addiction), caffine and stayed away from sugar and refined carbos. I have

BC/BS and was approved in about 2 weeks.

Subject: Help

My name is Gwen and I live in south Georgia. I am so excited about this

surgery and get more so

as each day passes. I have even begun to dream about it. This is an answered

prayer for me, I

have always known in my heart that one day I would be able to free my body

from the bondage and

pain of all this weight. I have read my manual 3 times (and still reading),

for the first time

ever I have my husbands full support and have discussed it with my parents

and they are thrilled

as well. I have been over 200 for more than 20 years and over 300 for a year

or more and

continue to climb.

What I need know is what do I do first? Where do I start so that I can get

this underway ASAP, I

want to get on with the life that stopped for me over a year ago.

I have Blue Cross/Blue Shield insurance (new this week), does anyone know

about how easy/hard it

is with this insurance? Should I wait longer since it is a new policy?

I will take whatever advice and/or guidance I can get.
