Guest guest Posted September 6, 2002 Report Share Posted September 6, 2002 Thanks to all that responded to my posting. It really made me feel good. I appreciate and need the support right now. I did hear from my GI today regarding the CT results. He said that the CT shows fluid between my pancreas and my spleen. Which leads him to believe it is a pseudocyst. He wants to do another CT in Nov/Dec. But doesn't believe that the cyst is causing my pain. Those were his exact words. My question is can't pseudocysts cause pancreatitis? I thought that I had read that many times. He tried telling me that all my syptoms just don't add up to CP. He thinks IBS is the cause!! I just seriously doubt that. I called my PCP to get her opinion and she thinks I should consult the surgeon who removed my last pancreatic cyst. So I have a call into him. I just have the gut feeling that my pancreas is what is causing all the discomfort but I can't seem to get GI to understand that. Anyone have any advice? Hope you all are feeling well today!
