Guest guest Posted June 14, 2000 Report Share Posted June 14, 2000 Dr R, June 14, 2000 How are you? I am doing great. Its exactly one year later and I am down to 164 lbs from 319! That is 155 lbs gone in exactly 1 year!!! Thinking back last June when I was having this surgery, I would have never thought I would be this small. I can get into a size 10 woman's jeans! I was in a size 32 before surgery! My life has totally changed. I know I have thanked you before. But do you really realize what a difference your surgery makes in some ones life? It puts them back into the " normal " way a person is suppose to live. You don't have strangers looking or making comments about you when your in a restaurant. You don't have people being nasty and rude to you when your out in public. It give you back your self worth. It makes you want to live again.
