The Sun Came Up For KiKi Today!

I had to share. This is the first time that our 21 month old daughter

(KiKi) ever noticed the sun come up this morning. We have a kitchen

with an eastern exposure so she was able to witness the entire

process. Pointing in disbelief...at what " she had discovered " , now

that the " blinders " are being removed from her eyes! Still not talking

yet...look forward to meeting with DAN, and special therapy.

Also last night (we all co-sleep), I awken in the middle of the night

to her laughter (she was dreaming) and smiling in her sleep! This is

the same infant/child that for the first part of her life, and over a

week ago awaken from horrible night terrors, could not recognize who

we where during them...and never smiled let alone slept so peacfulthat

she could laugh in a dream! She often use to awaken from a dead sleep

screaming and crying) she could laugh in a dream!

I spoke to her doctor yesturday and she thinks that eating paleo like

for the last 14 months gave us a jump start (we had already had some

success, yet I knew we could do better). Even with our screw ups and

not adhering to the SCDiet (because we where not ready for it yet).

Now that we are practicing strict adherance to the SCDiet, I trust

that it can only get better! Thank you all for your imputs and

suggestions!
