Guest guest
Hi! My name is Jenn. I'm in Vancouver, Washington, and this is my first post... I intended to lurk a while, but I couldn't help putting in my experience relating to this matter. Intro to come soon! *chuckle* <<< >> I have found that when healthcare funding from federal sources are drastically cut as they are being now, nationaly, all of the above suffer dramaticaly. #2 is compromised to cut costs, this results in us, the caregivers, becoming overworked and frustrated at the quality of care we are forced to provide by management, and naturally... this causes #3 to drastically suffer. It's a horrible game, of " topple the dominoes. " When I was able to work, I was a Respiratory therapist for 12 years, I saw this trend repeated at every hospital I worked in. The most recent example being my previous employer had their federal contributions cut by 25 MILLION over 3 years. ouch! It isn't right. The, " bean counters, " decide where services " need " to be cut... and that never makes for good medicine. Very disappointed at hospital beancounters everywhere....
