Hi

Need your advice, sorry to be bugging everyone at the moment.

My face has. I think probable reached the more severe stage of rosacea, and my

sensitivity is quite extreme. Bearing te latter symtom in mind I am considering

laser.

I know everyone is different, but I now have lumpy, bumpy, dry (but shiny),

extremely sensitive (can't use anything - can't move without havng some kind of

reaction) papuley, swollen, blushing and flushing, swollen covered in mini veins

skin. i don't know whether to wait to see if in the next few years a new laser

or treatment for rosacea may come out or to go for treatment now.

At the same time making this condition worse would be even more unbearable. I

have tried all the antibiotics minocin, clarithromycin etc. Idon't know what to

do now.

This will sound a funny thing to say but I weigh 140lbs and am 5ft 5 - i wonder

if losing a little weight migt help at all what do you all think.

I was asked to a party last night and went, I felt awful. A few people commented

at how mcuh I'd " changed " and I felt my face was bloated (I don't know about

swellers amongst you, but that full balloon feeling of the face) . I thought I

shouldn't be so vain to let it effect me but it is getting me so down, people

say to avoid shallowness but my face hurts so much too. I had been taking

aspirin with success until my eyelids starting swelling and the doc said " go

off it striaght away " .

Any ideas ?

I used to be so confident- and yep took looks for granted. Now i'm not sure i

can go on ... it does effect everything.

This sounds extreme and please I know you lot aren't councellers but I'm

thinking about just chucking everything in I can't live with this any more and I

can't seem to find any hope. Has anyone else felt suicidal totally due to this

condition?
