Guest guest
I would just like to clear up a few things that have been said by Dr Lazoff on the launch of this product in a few weeks. This is my story on how I stumbled across this product.I dont know if any of you have ever heard of Melanx. It was developed by Dr Fuller in the university of Illinois as the future of tanning without sun exposure.I emailed the University to ask Dr Fuller when this product will be available and also if this will be a product that could be used on sensitive rosacea skin. I was amazed that I got a response.Dr fuller said that it wont be a harsh product and should have no problem with sensitive skin. He then went on to tell me that he has also developed an anti-inflammatory lotion which he has given to some people with rosacea and has had a great response. He said that he has sent it to the lab(Cutanix) for testing.I then rang Cutanix and was lucky enough to get through to the CEO Mr Ingals.I was mainly interested in finding out about Melanx but Mr Ingals was nice enough to send me a bottle of CX 452 to test out on my rosacea as long as I kept him informed. Two days on CX452 my skin was totally clear of seborrheic dermatitis. I mean totally. No flakes, itching or inflammation associated with seb.derm.Unfortunately I didnt notice any difference to my cea and I reported this to Mr Ingals a few weeks later.Mr ingals said that they were having excellent results on seb derm and eczema but minimal results with cea.All of this has been discussed on the BFS forum in january.I knew that the product was going to be launched in the middle of this year so a couple of weeks ago members of the BFS forum asked me to find out more.So I did.Mr Ingals then informed me that they had increased the active ingredient from 0.5%(which was the one that I used) to 1% for the IRB trial. He said that they were very happy at the improved results for cea.He summarised the results of the IRB trial in one paragraph and I asked him if I could post his email to some forums that would be interested.Obviously Mr Ingals agreed (its all advertising isnt it?)and sent me a summary of the IRB trial. I can assure everyone on this forum that I have no connection with Cutanix.I am just a bar manager from the west of Ireland.I have been a member of this forum in the past but I had a little run in with Mr Pascoe.Matija posted about Cutanix a few months ago about what was being said on the BFS forum. So I emailed the IRB trial to Matija twice last week but without response.Adam was kind enough to do it for me since we are both members of the seb.derm group.I hope this clears up the fact that there is no one from Cutanix trying to slip anything into this forum.I am the one who has slipped it in for them and I believe that this will help some of you.
