Guest guest
I have been using gelatin instead of eggs for muffins/cookies but a friend told me that she read (in a book by a Dr Shaw?) that gelatin can be a problem for some children because of the " DPP IV. " I'm hearing this second hand, but wondered if anyone knew about this. Is there anything else that can be used instead of gelatin as an egg substitute? I tried pureed squash in muffins this AM, but the muffins were pretty pudding-like and no one liked them....except mom of course! Also, this is a long-shot, but does anyone have a egg free/casein free recipe for bread? Thanks, Kerri Whole family SCD 6 weeks for daughter (non ASD) with constipation and rages.
